Administrator House, Auckland City

Expanse Ltd obtained resource consent for the refurbishment of an iconic scheduled heritage building in Auckland City. This project won a 2023 Auckland Architecture Award.

St John’s Church (1882), Ponsonby

St John’s Church sits on the Ponsonby Road ridge and is one of the City’s oldest Methodist churches. Expanse Ltd let the project team to refurbish the church and convert the rear church hall to modern accommodation, working closely with Heritage New Zealand and Auckland Council’s heritage unit.

Sussex St, Ponsonby

Expanse Ltd obtained resource consent for the redevelopment of a villa on a tight site in urban Auckland. The modern addition was a juxtaposition to the classical road frontage.

Champtaloup House, Mt Eden

This property is protected by Heritage New Zealand / Puohere Taonga. Both the interior and exterior are scheduled. Expanse Ltd sought resource consent for the reconfiguration of internal spaces and creating new indoor/outdoor flow to the rear garden, while preserving the key aspects of the building’s heritage.
